Typical Physical Demands: Monitoring of project sites will require prolonged outside supervision in seasonally adverse weather conditions that could be physically strenuous. The position requires regular physical inspections of construction sites which involve walking over construction materials and climbing ladders and riding in lift baskets to heights of 40’ to work on cameras and to inspect roofs. The position requires the use of a personal computer. The position requires communication on a regular basis with contractors and consultants. Typical Working Conditions: Work will be performed as necessary in both office and outdoor environments as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or building construction and Five (5) years of progressively more responsible experience which was primarily involved in project management; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications: · Experience in administering or monitoring construction projects · Experience in human resource management, including leadership positions over groups of varying sizes. · Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. · Familiarity with provisions and applications of federal, state and local environmental regulations and requirements.
